The servings are big, food is really tasty. The sashimi is very fresh too. We came on a mid-week but they were very busy. We were lucky to get a table, but suggest booking a table in advance.
The food was amazing. There was water pre poured on the tables that had bookings which I thought was a really nice touch. We ordered the banquet and left feeling stuffed it was all so so delicious! Staff were super friendly. The tables were nice and spaced apart not too cramped. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend
Really recommend this restaurant, taste good and serve very well. All dishes are fresh and delicious, keep the raw food’s taste. Would be back again.
Possibly my new favourite Japanese restaurant. We got the banquet and it was amazing!! We love food and eat a lot and it was enough for us both. I had to also order the miso scallops and they were a huge hit. The miso steak was incredible absolutely melted in your mouth. Food presentation was impeccable and the service was 5 stars! They constantly ensured our water was filled, cleared our plates and there was water waiting for us on arrival along with a scrumptious bean shoot appetiser. Can’t wait to go back!
Went there for a birthday and was pleasantly surprised, it was fantastic. Casual but not fussy service and mains were under $30. The caramel cheesecake, pictured below was breathtakingly crisp and sweet. Our waitress was lovely and very attentive, they even gave us a discount because our food was a few seconds too slow. This shows how much the staff at Japan Inn are committed to excellence and great service. Please come and do yourself a favour, this is truly amazing restaurant!
This was our first visit to Japan Inn. Even on Tuesday night was fully booked. Obviously people like it. Unfortunately I can't give 5 stars because there were some things which are possible to improve.
Service was good but it looks creazy to serve people with 2 staff only, running from table to table and trying to be organized and please everyone.
Athmosphere is ok but somehow cold without any music at background.
We have decided to take banquet. Tempura was tasteless, I believe there was no any seasoning. Likely they never run of soy sauce.
Most delicious Japanese food you can have in Beaumaris! Kigfish sashimi, wagyu beef main and Chirachi salad is amazing!!
Ordered for take-out since the place is full when I came by last week. Expecting to wait long but I was wrong because the service is fast and the packaging of the food are great. The tempura and bento box here are delicious and very authentic japanese cuisine.
